Arnart Imports was a company that was based in New York City from 1953 to 2001. They specialized in selling porcelain goods from Japan and Taiwan. This piece depicts two lovers embraced with decorative whiplash curves behind them, adorned with leaves and grapes.
This piece is in overall very good vintage condition. It appears to have once been attached to a wall mount with strong adhesive, and the remnants of the adhesive can be seen on the back. This does not affect the aesthetics or function of the piece. The back has two large holes for mounting directly onto a wall, or onto a framed backing. The front of the piece is in excellent condition.
